I've noticed on the CCY's that I've seen that the quick couplers for the hydraulic system are below the deck on the right-hand side, just in front of the rear tire. On the other make/models I've seen, the QC's were up higher, usually on the side of the vertical portion of the FEL's boom. The first time I saw the QC's on a CCY SX3100, I asked the dealer about the possibility the hoses might get snagged on brush, hanging as low as they were. He assured me that was a remote possibility, but I'm not too sure.
Have any of you owners with CCY's had any issues with the QC's or hoses in such an exposed place? Have you done anything to remedy the situation - such as bolt or weld plates onto the underside of the deck to protect the hoses and QC's? If so, can you please post pics? Thanks!
