Chuck - I'll ask you the same question I asked the feminists - would you think the same thing had it been Bill Gates? And did you secretly giggle when Newt fell? Regardless of your personal feelings, there is an implied pressure between boss and employee, negating the consentual argument. But never mind that - I wanted him to hang for treason!

I don't know if this Posse Comitatus Act should be amended or not, I'm no expert on these things. I may be naive, but I can't believe that the citizens of this great country would ever allow the same type of actions that go on in Isreal or the Middle East. I believe that we elect our officials to run this country, and we should let them do it. If they are wrong they are wrong. I'm wrong every day.

I happen to trust President GW Bush and his people, especially Ashcroft and the VP. All we can do is find politicians we trust and support them (with dollars and volunteering). If we trust none of them then we have to run for office ourselves or have our friends run. I still mistrust big organizations, especially government. One exception, if it qualifies as a big organization, is the National Rifle Association. I trust them and they have never ever misspent any of the money I send them. I honestly believe I would be much less able to speak up today if not for the NRA! Thanks.

Chuck, Chuck, Chuck .... how come every time you disagree with my statements, you need to turn it into a personal attack? Hmm? I took the first "unreasonable wretch" as being tongue-in-cheek ... but with this attack "unreasonable and unreasoning" ... I have to start believing that you are taking my belief that we should all be held accountable to the same laws as a personal attack on you. Not sure why ... have you done something to feel very guilty for? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. Under the Influence of Liberalism ... or something similar? Or was this just out of chapter 12 of the Liberal Handbook. "Always personally attack someone when you do not have a valid comeback. Conservatives always react to personal attacks as if they had, in fact, done something wrong."
Hmmm ... I don't feel unreasonable ... pat, pat, touch, check - nope ... my forehead seems to be in place.
Let me say, once and for all, finally, never to be mentioned again, that I do not now, never had, never will, care about Bill Clinton's personal life. Don't care if he has one now, had one then, will have one in the future. I'm not concerned about anybody's private life except my own. Case closed. Forever.
That said, can you explain to me how having sex (yes, my definition of sex does include oral) during working hours while on the phone to a senator ... constitutes "private life". Is it my private life if I have oral sex with a co-worker during office hours? I don't think my employer, or my wife would consider it such.
I, being a pretty normal kinda guy ... dont have any wish to tell you what position you should use, when and where you should have sex, whom you should have it with. I leave that to liberal politicians to pass those inane and time-wasting laws ... but heck, a politician needs to do something ... or they get voted out before their pension is vested.
Lastly ... and then I will never mention Clinton to you again ... is that I think he should have been impeached, tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail ... very much like they tried to do to Nixon for lying .... for lying to the American public. You know ... back when he had a chance to either 'fess up or to say "none of your [censored] business" .... but didn't .... he shook his finger in the faces of every American of TV watching age and lied his face off.
Most people have accepted that ... you should too ... get that bug out. Clean it off. Let it go free. Learn to be satisfied with your own private life and quit obsessing that all us Bill-haters are sick, sick. sick of hearing about him. Sick!

Sorry I didn't respond for so long ... I was trucking back and forth to Chicago to pick up my old GoldWing ... 12 hours of driving ... need to get 'net acces in the pickup to while away those long hours stuck in traffic!

Now ... there's a thread we should start. Imaginative tortures for the imbeciles that plan the constructions zones (at least in Michigan). Especially those that join multiple highways into 1 lane .... I hope there's a very special place in hell for them ....
