As long as I had this tractor it wouldn't be used as a work tractor, so the overrunning clutch isn't something I'm in need of.

You can buy a newer and a more powerful tractor for that kind of money, but if you are spending $4100 for something to look at then price is whatever you are willing to spend. Too rich for me though. The old Fords are not all that rare as many people are still using them to work with. The Sherman transmissions are not all that common though, but it may not be original to the tractor either. Ford made a lot of 8N tractors and replacement parts are still readily available to rebuild one from scratch if need be. (kinda like a VW Beetle) I'd love to see you post some pictures of it sometime. It must be a nice one.
