Wow, all the negativity. If the task could be done with a Cat I attachment on a Cat 1 tractor, it will get it done on a large tractor. Of course, if you hook it on a tree root or big rock, you can tear it up, but if we're talking about normal soil, it will work fine. My only concern would be if the lower arms will swing in enough. Then keep it throttled down and enjoy. If it does tear it up, it will probably be useful scrap. :thumbsup:
Over the years I've seen some incredibly mismatched tractors and attachments but the job got done.
This can be true with an experienced operator. Fairly sure that the OP is not experienced, seems like if he was, the question never would have been asked and I really doubt that you can even get a cat 3 hitch to accept a cat 1 implement.
Plus, I would not call it negativity, more like realistic.
