Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. Having some problems now just laying out a 180'x210' fence with 3" post set 10' apart. Ended up calling the manufacturer and the "transformer" should be putting out at least 2500 volts, ran a fence tester on it and not even coming close. Ran back, picked up another "transformer" and tested it out at the store and it should now work. Used two ground rods and man, was I scratching my head trying to figure it out why the fence wasn't working.

Had to run to Home Depot for some wire for the ground, and, well, a horror story there. Try measuring 30' of wire in one hand using a 10' tape measure in the other hand. Thats what the girl was trying to do. Funny, just explained to her to measure two feet on the counter and run the wire "through" the 2' sections on the counter and multiply by two to get the footage. Of course no one was around to help with the wire and ended up spending 40 minutes for 30' of wire.
