WOW are those rocket launchers mounted on the fenders?? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif... Did you detail them for the pics they look pretty shiny.

They might start easier if they weren't wet...

The "rocket launchers" are what raises and lowers the mower deck.

I had just bought the 265 when this photo was shot. I cleaned it up when servicing it. I WAS planning on selling the 260. I cleaned it up at that time too. They don't quite look the same today.

I did have a second 260 before I found the 265. It's residing in Tennessee nowdays.

What I noticed is the garden still going - are those current pictures? Ours is all gone to frost except beets, carrots, parsnips and leeks. Also like your nice neat rows and clean tillage. Nice going.

Those pictures are from mid June, 2003.

My wife thinks I'm nuts. (And I can't find one good reason to prove her wrong.... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) I spend way too much time getting the garden looking picture perfect. Rows straight, no weeds, evenly watered, no bugs, and "manicured" plants.

Just the way I was taught as a kid. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.
