I'm hoping to capture some footage of a project with a digital camcorder that might be worth sharing on this forum. Should that come to pass, is there a way to do post or link to a video without having my own server or dedicated website?

I know file size will be important and it will need to be compressed alot, but other than that, I'm pretty much clueless. So if anyone can give me a step-by-step on how to make this happen, I would appreciate any help available.

You will have to store the video on some web server and link to it.

Here's a couple of places that will host your video clips:

Google Video

YouTube

Both sites have help features to get you started. Good luck!
