I don't believe this thread went as far as it did without mention of the Colt-Browning 1895 machine gun. Nicknamed the "potato digger" by the troops because the operating lever would dig into the ground if fired from too low of a position. It was used very successfully during the Spanish-American war.

That was the FIRST thing I thought of, having just read an article in the NRA magazine about how they found the potato digger that was with Teddie Roosevelt in Cuba, etc.

Sir,
I really appreciate the way of thinking, you guessed right reality. I am an educated guy, I have a superior technical training and as you said fac.Am know well what I asked for some opinions and not dimensioned drawings mild irony. I asked with great confidence but at the present stage it seems a waste of time this rant. I respect your way of thinking
regards

I must disagree with Mr. OldMcDonald (respectfully), because if you followed the links to the alibaba sites, there were specifications listed lower on the page, including width, total length, HP, and others. There were also pictures, which could be used to establish the other dimensions as a ratio to a the known dimension of width.

This would not even require a computer (except to access the pictures), a ruler and some basic math would do it just fine. Granted there are no details, but those would necessarily be altered to fit his tractor anyway.

I do not know, if Mr. Klug has access to a digital or other camera to post pictures of his tractor, but multiple people have asked for photos as a reference to how it would need to be constructed, and no pictures have been posted.

There are many threads here where pictures of the original poster's problem, setting, or equipment made solving their issue much easier (and in some cases it would have been impossible without the pictures).

Just my humble opinion, worth only what you paid for it,
Thomas

Klug,

I don't understand why you come on here and post this, but never answer any questions that myself and others are asking that could actually get you the help you were asking for.

I think you may have your answer, right there.

Yeah, that's about it

OK the manufactures site for that "Potato Digger, Two Wheeled Tractor" is here:

FOR TWO WHEELED TRACTOR | SPEDO

There are a few basic dimensions, the same video and a not-so-great picture.

Model CPP-M

WIDTH (cm) 90 (inches 35.5)
LENGHT (cm) 120 (inches 47.25)
HEIGHT (cm) 75 (inches 29.5)
WEIGHT (Kg) 86 (189.5lbs)
WIDTH OF SHARE 48 (inches 19 (rounded up from 18.89)

Which seems a lot bigger than I would have thought.

There is a better picture here although it is an illustration:

TECHNICAL OFFICE | SPEDO

One of the things that I, as a home shop guy, don't like is all the bent tubing... I just can't do that well as I do not have the right equipment. However, I came across some videos of a (apparently) Russian guy that looks to have a copy but with square/rectangular tubing for the frame vice bending round tubing. Couple of good videos that should help.

I don't think I can help much past that... I suck at drawing and I am getting ready to go on vacation/holiday :D

This is how you help me!?

I don't understand why I have been getting a bad rap here?

I do in fact understand the problem and have tried to offer help several times. I understand now that buying a used one is not an option, but I have asked many questions that remain unanswered that would help me be able to offer some useful advice.

Im sorry if I somehow offended you at some point but that was never my intention.
