What brand of MB is it? I've used a couple of different ones on my FP2425. One was a Lowe (pretty much identical to TSC's brand) and the other appeared to be a homemade unit. I could cut about a 12" deep trench with the Lowe, but the homemade unit never worked very well because the distance from the pins to the bottom of the plow point was too short. If you want to dig as deep as possible the lift arms will have to be adjusted as close to the ground as you can get them (this may create a problem with transport on uneven terrain because the point will only be a couple of inches off the ground with the lift in the fully raised position). As others have mentioned, the top link will have to be adjusted so the point is at an angle. If the ground is hard you may also have to improvise a way to add some weight to the MB to get it to dig at maximum depth.
