Ahh ok, I put the flywheel cover back on not knowing it was supposed to be in a certain position. I'll try that. Thanks

Wait, what? You removed the flywheel to replace the carb. Perhaps we are not talking about the same thing. Yes there is a cover for the flywheel, usually associated with the recoil starter. I'm saying that you have to remove the flywheel to check to see if the flywheel and the key on the crank are lined up.

No just the cover that the pull cord is in.

Yes. 2 little black and a larger silver screw. You can see them in that photo.
