A power beyond valve should have 3 in/out ports. One is the pressure inlet, one is the power beyond (pressure) outlet, and one is the return to tank outlet. The pressure inlet and power beyond outlet are the ones that connect the valve in series with your existing hydraulic circuit. The return to tank line outlet connects back to the fluid reservior tank/sump. You can tee this line into the loaders return to tank line. It is the only line that can be teed into another.

BTW, from what I have read here, those Gannon cylinders are notorious for leaking down. They do not have pilot operated check valves. Buyer beware.

Sorry that your posts were missed.
Mad is right about the Gannon cylinders leaking. We hope that yours are the exception.

thanks for the info, my old 40b has gannon cylinders, they dont leak down but one did leak might have been the combo of 15 years and the slightly bent rod. i replaced the seals and now its fine. do the cyls. that leak down do it while your working or just parked with the tractor not running.. the mf, kubota\ new holland and jd dlr looked at me funny when i asked about check valve cyls.. they all carry gearmore stuff.

Yes to both.
Most here recommend the cylinders from Carter and Carter. They have valves right on the cylinders that keep them in place.

got the kit the other day cost $330. i thought that was way high and it was, kinda it came with all the brackets, 4 hoses, quick connects, fittings etc... pieced together it probably would cost 330.00 and it all fit and looks good. The next step is to mount the valve (3 spool from gearmore) and get cylinders. if only it had draft control. i could also just learn to get good with the position control. one last Question where can i find out the proper size cyl for the tnt.???

If I understand what you are asking. Most are 2", 2 1/4", or the larger ones are 2.5". Even the 2" is more than enough. The 2" can push / pull 5000-8000 lbs.

Looks like I misunderstood what you had. I thought that you had the whole Gearmore setup. If you still need the cylinders, get them from Mark Carter. I don't know of anyone that hasn't been happen with his. They are the only TNT cylinders sold in the USA that I know of that has the valves already on them to prevent leak down.

sorry i was asking if anyone knows the length cyl . need for the 1547 the kubota dealer has a bigger (financial backing) parts dept. so he has cyls there. just needs to know the length and diameter etc.. i am shying away from asking the mf dealer knowing that i will probably not get them from him.. i hate cheating on him but...
