I have a power beyond circuit on my Challenger that was used by the previous owner to power a backhoe. Currently, it just has a hydraulic hose going from inlet to outlet to prevent dead-heading.

Could I be using this to power anything else? I know it'll work on a log splitter, but without a way to turn it off/on in the cab, I wonder what it will ever be used for.

I have 2 sets rear remotes. Is there any way to use the power beyond as a remote? I know there's no "on/off" lever in the cab, but is there a way to valve it so it could be more useable?

Go down a page and look for the thread named grapple. Somebody asked me to explain how I attached an extra valve to my tractor to run a grapple. I linked a picture that shows an extra valve connected to my kubota just above the joystick. I hope this helps.

A logsplitter or backhoe are the obvious things like you said... but yes, you can feed a valve with the PB lines to add more rear remotes. Just like when you hook up a splitter or hoe all you are really doing is adding the valve that's on it to the circuit.

PS. Why not ask in the hydraulics forum:confused:
