So I’m looking to add a third function to my loader on my 7300. The loader is a 417. I’ve read that if you have seven leads coming out of your hydraulic block that you do have a power beyond port. I’m pretty sure the oversize nut that is circled in picture 2is the power beyond port. Just want to confirm. Thanks.

Depending on the valve style you may need a special sleeve or fitting to utilize power beyond in that valve. Do you have 3 point hitch or rear remotes on that tractor? Do you have to a valve to select wether you operate the loader Vs 3 point?
If no then there is some form of power beyond already on that tractor.

I have a 3pt hitch, no rear remotes. There’s no valve to select between the two either…

No, that's not rquite right. Instead of "hydaulic block" it should be, "If you have seven hoses coming out of your Front End Loader Control valve stack then one of them is probably coming from the power beyond port.

What you are showing in the photo looks like a hydraulic diverter block or junction block. No idea or way to tell what that oversize nut is doing without looking in the shop manual. Yes, it could be some sort of Power Beyond - I've never seen one like that. We need the shop manual.
for the 417 and 7300 to show us for sure what that block is doing. If you have one and post the hydraulic schematics here then we can help with it. It needs to be of your particular hydraulic diverter block and control valve setup. They are all different.

As for the seven hoses, all Front End Loader Control valve sets will have the first six below, some have all 7. Unblocking a PB port also requires a special inside sleeve be installed inside when the large nut is replaced with a PB hose fitting.

FEL control Valve typical hose list:
1. Pressure IN from the hydraulic pump or diverter Into the control valve set. Labeled as IN.
2. Pressure out of the control valve set used to raise the FEL lift arms
3. Pressure out of the control valve set used to lower the FEL lift arms
4. Pressure out of the control valve set used to rotate the bucket down
5. Pressure out of the control valve set used to rotate the bucket up
6. Return flow from the FEL valve set back to the sump. Mayb be labeled as Out, Tank, or Return.
7. Power Beyond - often labeled: "PB"

If you have PB, a hose can go from there to power the IN port at the next control valve in the hydraulic series that needs pressure. That next control valve could be the your third function for the grapple, or a set of rear remotes, or sometimes the 3pt hitch lift arms.

Bottom line is it looks like you can get there with what you have, but need more info.

There is usually an embossed lettering at the power beyond port, sometimes the letters BND.....OR BYN

Not familiar with the tractor, but what does the actual loader valve look like?

When people say 7 hoses coming off loader block.....they are refering to
1. Pressure in
2. Tank return
3. Power beyond
4-7 being the work ports. IE....the 4 hoses controlling the 4 functions of the loader (lift, lower, curl, dump)

Most modern tractors, when disconnecting the loader, the loader valve stays with the tractor....and you uncouple those 4 work port functions.

What you show only has two quick disconnect fittings. So not sure how your cub and loader are plumbed without seeing more pictures of where everything goes. IT appears that the loader valve itself would be removed if the loader ever comes off as well. And what you picture is a power beyond loop of sorts?

When you remove the loader....do you have to couple a hose on those quick disconnects to loop them back together?
