There's a few on here that have built there own, and several of us pondering it. If I can I'm going to try and attack mine this summer. I've got it pretty much planned out, just need to execute it.
Google "Jer Home Made hydraulic power pack" to find a nice chat about the planning of it. There's a lot to consider - HP needed for blower (5hp per foot roughly), Flow and pressure needed to produce said HP, hose diameter to allow laminar flow of said pressure and flow, valving, relief valves, filters, size of reservoir, motor, pump, etc.
I really want to snowblow going forward!! and I want a cab. It was -37degC here this morning, and I frostbit my ears last evening hauling bales......booooo.....
