Power Beyond

I am wanting to buy a JD 1760 planter that requires hydraulic power for the vaccum pump. Can I run the pump with a power beyond kit or do I need a separate SCV on my JD 4450? I only have 2 SCVs now and one is required for up and down and one for the markers. What does a power beyond kit allow you to do? Thanks.

The PB kit supplies a constant flow of oil to implements like logsplitters and backhoes that have their own control valves. There is no ON/OFF to it-if the tractor is running then oil is flowing.
I am not familiar enough with the planter to answer specifically, but it sounds like you need something with a control valve?
I separate valve can be plumbed to the PB line to add a new SCV.
