Thought I would try posting again since I didnt get any response before to my question and it is likely buried now.

I am trying to resolve a problem with my 2012 Mahindra 3016 HST and found similar questions here on this forum and thought I would tap into all that expertise out there.

A few days ago I started to have problems with loss of power after about 10 mins of warm up. The tractor runs pretty well when first started (although it feels like 80% at accelerating), then starts to slow down. RPMs stay high, but it bogs down when stepping on the accelerator, and when fully warm, it just barely crawls along. It feels like something is wrong with the hydrostatic system as is slows down drastically when I let off the accelerator, almost like stepping on the brakes. May not be related but I did notice that the locking differential lever does not spring back to the non-locking position like it used to.

To try to resolve the problem, I put new air filters and a gas filters in, and I blew out the gas lines. Diesel readily flows through the filter, and the filter bowl is full when the problem is occurring. Lines to the injector and back to the tank are clear. I did not blow out lines that go directly to the injectors. I also loosened the gas cap to make sure it wasnt a plugged vent.

The tractor has about 190 hrs on it and was last serviced 100 hrs ago. Not sure what is next in the troubleshooting game.

Ideas?

Whats your warranty? I though mahindra was a 5 year warranty prior to just recently upping it to 7. Warranty is the first thing I'd ask about on a 4-year old tractor with 190 hours

I have TYM 330 HST. I think it is identical tractor as your Mahindra. It has 1200 hours and started to exhibit similar behavior as your tractor. I am suspecting either restricted hydraulic filter or suction screen or something stuck in a charge pump relieve valve (if there is such thing). I need to locate service manual for the HST before I start troubleshoot it.

I will check in on the warranty. Just want to make sure it is not something straight forward before I bring it in

I see the hydrostatic filter is supposed to be changed every 300 hrs, but after first 100 hrs, so maybe I should try that first.

To change the filter you need to drain the hydraulic oil. You have to also clean the strainer in suction line.

Did you get a chance to work on your tractor to resolve the same issue?

Not yet. I am out of home working in another state. My tractor is due for oil and hydraulic fluid change in about 20 hours I will inspect it then. I will ask the dealer when I get there to get the filters. Perhaps there is a history of such issues and known fix already.
