John Deere L120
A rodent ate through the white and black wireds running into the Power Port of the L120. I discovered this after I had a problem starting. I have capped them off. still can not start. I wonder is the power port connection back wired through something that would ground the tractor or otherwise prohibit starting? Be warned I am not very mechanical.

not sure about that, but cant you just wire nut the cut wires back to where they should have been before mouse chewed thru it?, instead of just capping them off?

The power port might be on the same fuse as something need to start the machine. Leave the wires capped and then check your fuses.
