I am doing the final prep work of about 2 acres of dirt before I seed around my house, and I'm fortunate enough to have a friend that owns a Harley rake. He's presently out of town so I can't get any specific advice from him, so I was wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks on using it.
My dirt has ALOT of small rocks on it (golf ball size, mostly flatter though), and I'm trying to get as many of them off as I can before using the seeder (also a friends).
I see that you can angle AND tilt the rake and I'm looking for the best way to skim across the top, clearing the rocks (into windrows, I assume) and fluffing the top couple inches of soil.
