( Companies often get away without putting all of the constituents of a product on the MSDS sheets, claiming it contains proprietary information)

They still have to list materials by volume, even if they identify some o fthe materials as a trade secret.. they list a generic category by volume.

( Sound, I did not think that you could understand or intrepret the MSDS of a petrochemical hydrocarbon product, and I still do not think that you could without further education, but good luck trying )

As stated.. many times now.. I don't have to be able to understand how the ingredients work together.. i was just interested in seeing # of ingredients listed, and percent of volume.. etc.

( FYI, the white bottle has allot more chemical additives than the grey bottle due to the fact it is for a completely different purpose.....

I thought maybe you already knew that but from your previous reply it is apparent that you did not. )

Actually i had no idea exactly how many ingredients it had. but I was sure it was more than the 3 that you claimed earlier.. that is.. 98% diesel, plus the other 2 chemicals you mentioned. ( I.E. .. I was guessing it had more than just those 3 chemicals.. etc.. )

That was a real good solid guess.

There are at least 3 different classes of chemical compounds listed on the offical MSDS that you posted here, but no telling exactly how many of each, exactly what they are, what they are utilized in the formulation for, or exactly how much?

Now we are getting somewhere, but where I just don't know....!?! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Possibly a great many of them are just contaminants or inert ingredients, right?
