Yes, you are correct.. however.. with the biggest chemical constituant being a max of 60%.. I'd like to see where that 98% diesel comes in that skypup had spoken about.. IE.. that PS was nothing but 98% diesel, then 2% being composed of 2 other components.. etc.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I may not be up on the new math.. but the 98% and 60% stuff.. um.. don't look close.. even if you squint a bit and look at the monitor kinda sideways...

Sound - why would they (PS) allow the chemical formulation of the included hydroxy compounds to vary between batches by 200% and allow the organic nitrogen compounds to vary batch to batch by 800%????

Is their quality control so poor that the composition of the formulation can vary batch to batch by close to 10X??? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

This is crazy, what company would allow their proprietary chemical formula to vary by so much? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Any ideas or guesses would be appreciated to understand this strange and unusual weird chemical phenomen you've uncovered.

Here you are so worried about me stating that PS was 98% diesel fuel #2, which it is, but yet you have no question about the 200% and 800% discrepancies in the chemical formulations that you posted here.

Are you absolutley certain that the huge percentage differences in your posts are correct and if so, how could two bottles of PS possibly be the same thing? Are they?

Based on your research, it seems like each bottle of PS is really something else, ie no two are alike!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'm not in the petro chemical industry.. but if I had to make a WAG.. I might guess that there may be regional formulations that varried based on the fuel they were treating, and the MSDS covered thos variances...
Again.. you seem to be the one with the big brain ( and mouth..err.. keyboard? ) to match... so why don't you enlighten us, the dirty masses, as you so often imply.

I give up... As whith posting to GSXR1100.. I find it virtually impossible to have a low key discussion with you, and not have you become condescending... When you are questioned about differences in the numbers you cite, against the numbers provided by the manufacturer.. you toss them up, throw them back and turn the question around.. instead of explaing it, (as you imply that you know the answer.)

As I had stated to GSXR once.. I think you would be an awesome politician.. I think your 'personality' skills are being wasted in -any- other profession... It takes a special person to be able to obfuscate so eloquently..

( Bob once you get your new 40DA you'll be surprised at just how many times you'll be running to the gas station and paying a premium price for diesel. Purchasing off-road in bulk = considerable savings. Using Power Service in the 275 gallon oil tank keeps the fuel fresh. )

So, what kind of tank? did you buy or rent a tank?
