been using mine so far this season to drop and buck about 4 cords worth (it's not split yet so I'm not sure just how much is there). impressed with it so far. not even one season, but on my little 14" bar, 4 cords is a lot of cutting its made by Oregon, so I have some confidence it will hold up. sharpener still secures well to the bar and the stone seems to have lots of life left in it. only another thing I can say is it only takes a couple of seconds of pressure on the sharpener to dress it - don't lean on it for 30 seconds. try 2 or 3 seconds at a time unless it's REALLY dull (like you stuck it in the sand dull), and then MAYBE 5 seconds.
I'm impressed with it. keep in mind, I'm no saw pro and hate manual sharpening. h3ll, I don't even like using the saw - dangerous but a necessary evil to keep the stove fed. nothing like a roaring woodstove in the dead of winter...
