"IS the shuttling only an issue when engaging? Any problems with disengaging at 2200 rpm? Or just engaging?"
Can't say for sure, but when I am backing down a steep hill I usually kick the PS from R to N at the end of the run, apply brake to stop, and then shift to F without ever touching the clutch -
Not alot of information on this procedure in the manual either, so hopefully someone with more experience will tell us both what is the best to ensure clutch longevity.
I think the main thing is taking some of the stress off the machine before switching directions, ie reduction of speed and/or rpm's.
Hopefully it is built to handle going back and forth at 2200 rpm's, top gear and top speed. It does feel jerky if I switch while I am moving too fast, but not sure if any harm is actaully being done or just an implied thing.
