Hey Guys,
I see that my product is being talked about, and 1 of my sales guys has chimbed in. Let me answer some of your questions and concerns. 1st about durability and conditions: These units are similar to whats on the new Grizzly and Kawasaki Mule. They can take the rigors of the trail with no problem. We caution people not to submerge these motors, but I know the same hold true when thinking about starter motors and engines. These power steering units are mounted very high on the vehicels....If you have a Gator you will be up to your knees in water before the electric mortor gets wet, in fact it is under the dash in the cab. On the Ranger you'd have to be in approximately 3ft of water before its submerged. On the Rhino you'd be almost to have the entire hood under water water. These units can get wet, they are sealed but we dont suggest they go under water or at least not for an extended amount of time. These units are from a production automobile that weighs 2800lbs, the motors are extremely tough, and the ECUs are completely sealed. I have sold quite a few of these already to Deere dealers and Ranger owners, with nothing but high praise. The power assist is ideal for plows, big tires or tracks. We have recieved most praise from the older guys and gentelmen farmers who are tired of struggling with their utes. Not that this apeals to all of you but wives are even more willing to drive hubbies side xside. We stand by our product, and have been suppling Deere and Polaris with their steering systems for years. This is our first offering to the aftermarket, but we arent rookies. Feel free to contact me with any questions, I really like the forum and lets see if we can do a member discount.
Best regards,
Dave Batke
