Power steering hose re-route???

I have found my steering problem. Leaking hose that goes to the top of the front axle. This hose is the only one that is routed below the main frame and engine block. It is obvious that it was punctured by driving over something. If I buy a longer hose is there any problems with re-routing this hose a little bit? Would the extra length and a few more slight turns cause problems with fluid flow/compression/drag or whatever? Toby

I don't see anything wrong with doing that.

Yeah, like Wallace said the pressure is going to build up in the system, and in the grand scheme of things the little extra length of the hose the system won't even notice.
