$400 is a good price for the entire steering kit, but still a little high for my limited budget. The design from the Kubota forum runs around $250 for the parts and uses power from the 3PH system. It needs around 1.5 GPM to run. The spec for a 3000 says the system has 5 GPM available so I think I can borrow 1.5 without a problem.
you will need a power beyond block for the 3pt top cover.. the output of that to a flow divider that bleeds some flow off for the steering, and passes the rest directly back to the PB block so that the 3pt hitch will work. this way if you add a top cover remote, I believe your steering will still get oil FIRST from the PB block before being passed to the remote.
someone will correct me if I am wrong.. ( Rick B for sure knows the hyd plumbing on a 000 better than I do.. )
