Power steering tank cracked, want to purchase or eliminate.

My tank has cracked.

Century 3035

Shipped to Zip 72715.

Also would be interested in how dificult it would be to just eliminate the tank.

My tank also is cracked and is in the shop for replacement. This has been a problem with these tractors and you should see if your dealer can get the part under waranty for you.

Ask the dealer to upgrade to the integrated hydraulic system, basically get rid of the tank like the new models. Search a little and you will see this has been discussed. It is a little work. The system must be drained, some hoses made, fittings changed, etc. Or stick a tank on it, about a 15 minute job and the tank is cheap....but it is vulnerable to failure again in a few years.

Can anyone tell me what year they stopped using the seperate tank? I have an 05 3510, but it is at my father-in-laws farm right now so I can't go have a look to see if I have one or not...thanks a bunch....Brian
