power steering works on one side only

hi,
i have a massey ferguson 148 (similar to 135). i topped up some fluid and the power steering works. But only when i turn to the left. when turning to the right it does not work . i have bled the line according to the manual.

Is your power steering ram mounted in front of the radiator, or a ram at each wheel? I have had this same problem on a 178 and a 240 but the solution depends on which type of power steering you have.

I am a complete novice....so my answers might be dumb. The CYLINDERs are on each side of the bit that is attached to the wheels.

Not dumb at all. You have axle mounted power steering rams. I had that same problem on a mf240
The problem was a combination of worn "O" rings and valve settings in the power steering pump.It only had about 3700 hours from memory. How many hours has yours done?
Due to lack of knowledge I had the dealer fix it.
