1*Anybody have the boom mower on the 180?
2*How do you till without leaving wheel tracks all over what you just tilled?
3*Does the 180 feature the quick attach feature where you don't have to get off the tractor to change attachments? ?

1. The boom mower isn't available for the 180. Here's the list of attachments for it.

PT 180 attachments

2. Most people seem to make one pass going forward, breaking the crust, then a final pass going backwards, tilling out your tracks...

3. The PT-180 has a manual, lever operated (not hydraulic) Quick Attach. Note that for any powered attachment, you have to leave the seat any way, to hook up the hoses...

Just guessing but its probably the quick attach plate you could weld on to a device you made... like the 50 gal drum one PT owner made into a giant bucket to move cereal for his big breakfast.

If you want to make your own attachments, this enables you to connect to them to the Power Trac. You weld or bolt this plate to the home made attachment. Then you can "quick connect" to this plate from the Power Trac.
Of course you can make this plate also. A friend of mine made six of them, I got two. His price was excellent, but the supply was very limited.

If you've got the tools, they're really pretty easy to make. The tolerances are very forgiving. I've made several out of random scrap. They ain't pretty, but they work...

What's the red thing on the left of the steering wheel?

Thanks for asking! It is where my wood splitter control valve is mounted. Just slide it out of the holder on the splitter and slide it in that red thing, plug the two hoses into the PTO connections and away you go
