I've had 2 days of use now without any problems. I didn't ask for help from PT concerning the short in the wiring but I'm kind of hard headed that way. I'm glad to know my way around the wiring and having had a good look at the inner workings I'm still very pleased with the machine. Corners may have been cut to keep the price low but all the really important parts appear to be heavy duty.
