I wouldn't want to be without the spinner knob!! If you still want the springs you can either look up 14's nifty spring mod or you can call PT and they'll send you 2 springs that just wedge under the treadles...have had mine for 6 months or so now and while it took some getting used to them I def like them now! I thought they might pop out but have remained intact all the while.

Farmall140,

I remember my dad had one on his (back then) Hot Rod 1956 Ford. I just looked up some custom knobs on-line. One had a push button fold down that I liked. I just wonder if the mechanism will wear out and fold down prematurely during operation. Not that it's a real big deal, it's not an expensive item to replace. Know of anyone that has used that design? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I asked for these along with my order as per the advice from this forum. I would definitely give PT a call and just ask them to send springs. While I didn't find not having springs to be a big deal, I can't say that having the springs is a bad thing. They are a good improvement and really ought to come pre-installed.

Their general purpose bucket looks large in the photo but I think it's the same size as the PT rock bucket(5 cu ft??)...maybe the Gehl front end is smaller and that's why?? I was wishing I had the larger LM bucket this week-end...let the manure pile get way too big! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I just ordered this fold down version.

EDIT: Sorry, had to remove the link due to spinner knob art. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Can folks give you a P.M. for the link, instead?

No problemo. I'm a big fan of aircraft nose art, but that's another forum. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Has the Avant product line been imported to the US as a MultiOne? Certainly seems similar if not the same....

MultiOne

Some nice, smaller sized attachments that might be worth checking out, such as a rock rake (without grapple), vibratory plow, sicklebar mower, flail mower, etc.
