1618 powerking
Hello. I have 1980 1618 power king. I went to move a log with the loader that I could previously move no problem and now it does not lift it. You can get it off the ground about a foot if you tap the up controls quickly. I haven't been able to find a filter or a screen so I guess my next check is going to be the system/relief pressure. Does anyone know what the pressure is supposed to be or have any other ideas? Thanks.

You can at least check the hyd pressure.

It will probably be between 1500 and 2500 psi.

The cyl seals could be leaking, or the valve leaking, or the pump is worn.

When you try and read the pressure, extend the cyl to full and hold the lever. If the pump is working good, the relief should activate.

You can test the cyl using needle valves.

The belt didnt seem loose but I tightened it just a tad anyways and it back to normal. I checked the pressure anyways and it was 500 psi with a light load in the bucket and relief was 1000 psi. Yes I feel stupid.
