Powershift

They didn't have near that many tractors done when I was there last summer. Business must be booming.

To your original question, my 2210BD is the 6th tractor I've owned and none of the others had anything like the Powershift. I was kinda skeptical about it too, but it seems to work great and is a real time saver in certain situations. I really love the simplicity of these tractors, and I think its great that mine doesn't have a computer on it anywhere. Yanmar can't claim they own the software on my tractor. :)

That 850 looks nice! I really liked the look of that ym2610d though!!! And yeah I was wondering the same thing about the tires Clemsonfor. I've seen pictures of a 2210d from Fredricks with rice tires on it and yet mine didn't come with them. I would like to go visit that place just to look around.

Oh, they did such an awesome restore on the 850. Better than new. Our YM2610 is basically the YM2500/JD-850 with two extras. 1. We have PowerShift. 2. We have multi-speed PTO with the RPM/PRO gauge to boot!

... but have you seen the price for those? Superior quality to a brand new tractor of another brand - but also priced the same as that competitor.

Yes I have seen what they are asking for them, it is expensive for a 30+ year old tractor. I know you can buy chinese tractors for that price but how long will it last? I keep dreaming about another tractor when I get the Green tractor booklet with current deals on them (can't even say it..... John De.......Dee.......) For a 37 HP 4WD unit with Shuttle shift and FEL is about $20K.

:2cents: My totally restored YM2610 was just under $6,000USD. A JD 2032R being just about equal is priced at $21,000+tax and delivery. I could have almost 4 YM2610 machines for that price. ;)

Here's a few more pix.

This is an amazing shot. I bet this home owner Mr. Fredrick loves his Yanmars! Just click the photo!

The view from interstate 65 is great too. We go to Florida every year and spend the night in Cullman, AL, just a few miles down the road. One year, we laid over an extra day and I drove back up there and looked the tractors over, everyone looked darned near factory fresh. The variety would make it hard for someone to make up their mind just exactly which one they wanted.

EXACTLY. :cloud9:

I did go with the YM2610 because the 3T80 engine is one that the John Deere uses.

I'm off of the I-65 up here in TN, thus it's a straight 2-hr drive down the interstate. Not too bad really. Very scenic after Nashville and easy driving with the trailer to pick up a tractor in awesome restored and rebuilt state.

A co-worker of mine had an old FarmAll or IH, traded that in on a YM1720D. One of the few models with power steering and powershift in a 4WD setup. He too made the trip down I-65. He's been having fun with his Yanmar and loving it too!
