"Pre-Drill"?

Re: \"Pre-Drill\"?

Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Re: \"Pre-Drill\"?

Yeah, somebody please 'splain this to me:

flammable = "Easily ignited and capable of burning rapidly"

inflammable = "Easily ignited and capable of burning rapidly"

English. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Why are apartments so close together? Can there be townhouses in the country? Why are green blackberries red? I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Re: \"Pre-Drill\"?

Sorry, guess I was being too serious at work on a Friday and I missed the joke - That or thought I could actually answer a question somebody actually had. Not very often (if ever) I have a chance to do that. Sorry I missed your shot at humor.

Re:

<font color=red>Pilot Drill</font color=red> might be a better way to call it.
Pilot drilling is normally done with a bit smaller then the ultimate hole size and facilitates assembly (screwing, nailing, etc.)

Re:

<font color=blue>flammable = "Easily ignited and capable of burning rapidly"

inflammable = "Easily ignited and capable of burning rapidly"</font color=blue>

George Carlin used to use this in a bit - flammable, inflammable, non-flammable. What the f--- is this? You've got three words and only two conditions. Either it flams or it don't flam!

And you add in the confusion from some people thinking "inflammable" means "it don't flam"

This was in the same bit where he protested 'non-stop' flights, announcing he had no intent of leaving the plane till it was back on the ground.

Re:

Whats another word for synonym?

Why is monosyllabic 5 syllables?

Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?

Just wondering.

Why do we Park on a Driveway and Drive on a Parkway?

Why are those compact tractors so darn big?

Hmmmm /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif? Sounds vaguely reminiscent of a routine from Gallagher. Remember him, the <font color=blue>Sledge-O-Matic</font color=blue> guy?? He was a stitch, and he had a lot of those kinds of comments.
