I have used the 89 stuff for all my small engines and preferably without ethanol. Have not had any issues with any equipment and as soundguy mentioned other than spending more I don't think it would make a difference
seafoam is good stuff!!
i've used seafoam to clean up valve stems in a gummed up engine. worked almost as good as acetone mixed with atf when cleaning up the deposits that locked the valves in place and made decorative artwork out of all my intake pushrods.. etc.

You can get Amsoil Form power which does more for less...Or even B12..or MMO.... Throw in TCW-3.
It's [seafoam] been around a long time. Originally used to decarbonize marine two cycles. Heck, I used it at $5 a can..
Car forums started hyping de-carbonizing the engine through the brake booster vacuum line, it got popular, and the price shot up to $9 a can. IMHO, it is not a $9 product
Other are cheaper. Heck Neutra 131 will blow it away.
