Sitting back and giving advice is always easy.

But when the chips are down and the work is to be done it is a whole lot different and takes a good man to do the job.

Just use soft hands/feet on the controls.

Sitting back and giving advice is always easy. But when the chips are down and the work is to be done it is a whole lot different and takes a good man to do the job. Just use soft hands/feet on the controls.

I will only add two supplemental thoughts to that:

a) It is always easier to do work on your own property than to do the same work on a client's property... especially with the client watching and counting down the minutes and dollars, and,

b) It is always easier to describe to a client what has to be done than to actually do what you said you would do.

One tends to convince one's self when making a sales pitch to a potential client that their machine can do just about anything... and maybe it can... but rarely as quickly or as pretty as the words came out!
