Pressure washing, good or bad?

Good thoughts, folks, as always.

The pressure washer will be solely for mud and crud and not to clean the ever-present grease blobs. I don't point it at the engine, only at dirty areas of the hoe and loader. As a consequence, mud spatters everywhere and then I have to hit those spots too. I guess the consensus is that it's no big deal.

We find in the shop that Zep Formula 50 degreaser and a garden hose is sufficient to degrease automobile underhoods...just a thought

I never got my CK30hst that dirty that a rag and garden hose wouldn't work. If I had to use my pressure washer, I'd keep the wand tip reasonably away from the tractor parts. As someone else mentioned, use the fan and not the jet tip that can write in cement and don't wash a hot engine with cold water. I always grease after washing. You'll see water being pushed out of the joints. Everybody has their own washing tricks. I'm sure you'll find some too.
