I have a 10 acre lot in a subdivision in Virginia and plan on building my own house and installing my own drain field and septic tank. I have a 450 foot gravel drive way on a hill. I'll only be mowing about 1/2 acre and probably won't use the tractor for that. While building the house, I'll use the tractor for grading the land, backfilling, possibly digging frostline footers, digging 3 82 foot drain field trenches, digging the hole for the septic tank installation, moving building material around the site, and I'm sure a lot of other things.
Afterwards, the tractor will be used for maintaining the gravel driveway, occasional snow removal, going into the woods to carry logs, etc.
I decided to go with a TC35 with a 16LA loader and a 757C backhoe and a 6' box blade. The TC35 seemed to give a good bit more capability for the price increase from the TC30 or TC33.
Do I need a checkup from the neckup? Anyway, the price quoted is 21,819 + tax. Does that seem like a good price?
Thanks,
Adam
