Buying a tractor is a lot different from buying a corvette.

*If he can do what he wants to do with it yes. If it won't do that no.

When I was shopping, a used one year old tractor would typically be priced within $2,000 of the new price.
*To me that wasn't enough to justify going used over new.

*$2000 is about the even point where you will spend the same amount of money aquiring either the used or new tractor.

I hate for $1500.00 or so to be a deal breaker
but it is at this time.(between a new one) local dealer bx2350 with
loader new can be had at $11700

You would have to have been able to get the used 2350 for $9700 to equal the $11700 price your dealer gave you on a new one.
The new one is a much better deal for 3 reasons.
1=It's the same money out of pocket as the used one.
2=The new tractor has a warranty.
3=It's new vs used.
