I ended up going with just a back blade for now to handle snow this winter and take advantage of the $1,500 rebate. Next spring I'm planning to add a box blade and toothbar, long term I'd like to add a small tiller as well, but I'll probably be shopping used for that as they seem quite pricey new. My wife has plans for a couple of large gardens around the house and I'd like to put in some food plots at our hunting land which I'm sure the tiller could really come in handy for. I considered adding the MMM, but I have a one year old Arians GT that works fine for mowing. My thought being that when that dies I'll look into adding the MMM instead of getting another GT and maintaining two engines, but we'll see. Anyone have any recommendations for other implements you've found helpful for the BXs?

On a side note, just wanted to reiterate that if anyone is having doubts about your local dealer's pricing, check with Barlows. I've seen others wondering if they're still doing online sales and I can confirm they are, you just may have to wait a bit longer than in the past for your quote. Brady isn't focusing on online sales full time anymore, but he's still around if you're willing to show a bit of patience. They've been great throughout the process and though I didn't end up going with them this time, I will definitely check with them if I make any future purchases.

The wind is ALWAYS blowing back on you when you run a blower.

Now THAT's the truth! I previously had a BX2230 w/ front mount. Live at the bottom of the mountain (Carson Range, Sierra) so it goes from flat to 45 or more degrees up. Wind causes rotor and so it's constantly changing direction on a micro scale - blows one way and shifts to the other in just minutes. No way to avoid getting flash frozen, looking like the abominable snowman all frosted over.

Got a cab with heater! Wooohooo! Now I just have to reach over and turn the windshield wipers on . . . and take another sip of coffee. Bring it on (g).

Somebody got Ag tires!! Nice unit. Very nice.

Tuck that MMM hardware away so it doesn't hang up on anything. ;)

Yeah now that I think I will not be mowing with my BX and will hopefully get a zero turn, I probably should have opted for the Ags instead of the R4s. I didn't know any better. I assume they would be much better in loose dirt and on slopes!!!
