I have two quotes on the following:

2210 with Turf Tires, 210 Loader with ballast box and 54" mower.

Dealer 1 $13,900
Dealer 2 $13,804

Will be pricing at two other dealers. Located in South East Pennsylvania.

These prices seem to be about $1000 high based on what I have seen on this forum. Any comments on current pricing of this set-up? Some of the pricing I have seen here are about 1year old

Thanks
John

JJE64,

Last June I paid about $1000 for the same set-up except the 62C MMM (which I would highly recommend due to the overlap and reduction of the uncut circle to 36"). I know all raw materials, especially steel are up, so perhaps that is a factor.

Awesome machine. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JJE64,

I just saw your post and might be of assistance, unless you already bought a 2210. I've spent the past week doing intensive research and price shopping (as far as sales tax free Delaware). I haven't checked Robert E. Little's in Zieglerville, but I saw a post where they discounted the list price by 21% (I haven't verified this, yet). My local dealer quoted by a price of $13,300 + 6% sales tax for a 2210 w/49" FEL, 62" MMM, and ballast box. I'm not sure where you're from or what dealerships your checking in Southeastern PA, but let me know who's got the best deal for you. For the 2210 that I'm considering, I'm looking at a discount from the list price of about 16%.

JJE64,

Just noticed I left out "less" in my above post. Hope that makes it more clear. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

JDFANATIC,

Your clarification makes me feel better. I had assumed you paid $10000 last year and steel prices had driven the cost of a 2005 up about $3K.

Anjou,

I gotta learn to proof-read. Sorry for any confusion this caused. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The Dealer 1 price is what my local dealer was offering a 2210 for with LX4 instead of the MMM, with a toothbar for the loader. I'd say you've a good price. I got my 4010 for $300 less, $13,600: incl. LX4 and 410 loader and toothbar.

This was last October.

I think you've already gotten some good advice, but heres my .02 worth. Last June I purchased a 2210 with 210/53" bucket, 54" MMM, iMatch, ballast box, 60" rear blade, and tank heater for 12,750$. I have been very happy with this machine. I use it mainly for mowing, but it did a great job clearing snow this past winter without chains or tires being filled.
Good luck
