Price Check Price check on TC35A with 16LA FEL

I have been lurching here for a couple of months since deciding I need to update the 1949 Ferguson TO-20 tractor /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif for a new one. I have read some very good advice on TBN and I wanted to get your input.

I am looking at a NH TC35A with 12x12 Synchro Shuttle Shift, AG tires loaded, and a 16LA FEL. The price quoted to me by the local NH dealer was $17,900 delivered and ready to go. This includes delivery and training.

I have looked around and it seems reasonable to me.

check corriher tractor in NC, they advertise on the web, not sure what the website is, also try tarheel tractor

those are good places to get an idea of price, generally further south you go seems price is cheaper

you can check http://www.dot.state.mn.us/equipment/contracts/tr_cpt_utl/index.html

for MSRP and find out what a good discount off of list is in your area

Thank you for the reply. I looked at Corriher Implements web site to look at the prices.
Thank you also for the link you posted. I looked at it and it looks like the MSRP was close to what I was quoted.

That is a good deal,but not a steal. See if you can get them to toss in 50 hour service for free. It is usually best to "have relations" with your local dealer, unless they are so far off on pricing that it makes sense to web order,etc. Dont sweat a couple of bucks.

Thank you for the advice. I was going to ask them to include the 50 hours service in as part of the price. I was hoping to have them drop the price a few hundred, but it looks like the quoted price is about average.
