OK., so you've heard it before, so here goes again! I drove into the New Holland lot in Spokane, Wa. and took a good look at a Boomer, a TC45DA with 16LA Loader. Really impressed this Green and Yellow kind of guy, so much that I would like to know just how much this bright blue machine might sell for? My luck it was Sunday and the store was all closed up. Just what might I expect for a reply on a quote from the sales office on Monday morning?

I think you will find that tractor sells for around $23,500. It could be more or less depending on your area and how it is configured. If your budget is tight, you might try the TC40DA. With the exception of PTO horsepower, those two tractors are identical in specifications and you will save a significant amount of money by buying the TC40DA(up to $1,500). Both the TC45 and TC40 are 4-cylinder, non-turbocharged engines.

I own a TC45D (2001) and I'm sure I'd be just as happy with the TC40D. . . your decision. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Thanks for the reply jinman, I certainly appreciate the info! I have always been a Green and Yellow person since childhood on the dairy farm, HOWEVER, after mulling on the radical looks of the Boomer for the past few years, I finally worked up the spirit to pull over on the lot and just take a close LOOK at the machine! WOW, I certainly came away impressed with features I discovered were not even available on the Deeres'. Fueling from the rear end is a big big plus.....no more over the hood/instrument panel fiasco. All levers and controls are very easily accessable and the view is phenominal....especially down in front! Access to the operators platform from both sides is a big plus....I do it all the time, only over the loader joystick and ignition key/lock system which I have already broken off by doing just this manuever. The tractor had R-1's and the wheel spacing is more than acceptable for my narrow perrenial garden rows but allows for various other positions. And last but not least, the PRICE IS RIGHT! I knew I was paying gross amounts of excess dollars for the privilege of owning Green and Yellow, however I did not know it was this much! I am now very seriously looking at the BLUE lineup for my next tractor upgrade and an upgrade it will be! Thanks again, now I have some ammo to defend myself at the dealer come time for pencil sharpening!
