Slim,

Since you are back in the pricing game, you should check out the prices on a Case DX40. Same tractor in RED with a tan seat... Sorry to complicate things.

Also, would recommend staying away from aftermarket loaders on the TC/DX, The curved boom and joystick is one of the best features that set Case/NH apart and the tractor will hold its value better in the long run..

BTW I think the 4330 is dimensionally larger (length, width, and weight) than the NH TC40. So I second the previous comments about the 3830 being more comparable in the Kubota line.

You could save more by getting the 12/12 SS trans.

Note that if you use CNH financing I'm told you must have inland marine insurance on it. this might be aoub $200/year and would kill your financing savings.. I'm no looking to just get the $1400 back and finance otherwise and let homeowner's take care of it on my property as i have no need to use it elsewhere.. if i did, i could always opt for that insurance anytime...Fyi

CNH offers pretty good insurance for cheap. In my case $14 a month. Covers even if the tractor breaks in half, covered on or off your property and trailering to and from locations or the dealer for service.

THen i guess the $14/mo is worth it cause say if you were to finance 18.5k for 48 months at 6.25% you'd spend 2.4k in interest over the life. so the cash off is a worse deal than 0% financing..

Yes, It will cover it. unless you take it OFF your property, then it loses coverage.

It may cover it inside a building but what if a tree falls on it out in the woods? I think you may have some problems with a claim such as that.

Not what my dealer told me. I took the CNH 0% financing in Juliy on my TC34da and cover with homeowners. Thought about an additional rider to my homeowners policy just for the tractor, but we are going into winter when I won't use it that much. Now if I start hauling it around or earning money with it, that would be a different story.... Always have the option to add the rider next spring, but will be saving paying the premium until then.

That problem may depend on who your insurance agent/company is. My agent told me anything occuring on my property was covered. Accidents covered, rollovers covered, and theft covered. In fact, my agent discouraged the rider unless I wanted to trailer it or use off of my property (that was a surprise - I know he grins everytime I call him).

I don't remember the exact figure, but the rider was comparable to the $14/month that someone said CNH charged. Still, that's $10 cheaper per month than the coverage I had on the bassboat I sold so I could buy the tractor.
