Your Kubota dealer will install the subframe which will stay on the tractor whether you have the 3 point on or not. With the subframe, you will not be able to attach a mid-mount finish mower. As one of the posters stated, there are two "hooks" at the bottom for the hoe to slip into. At the top are two connecting pins, one for each side which lock the hoe into place. When you wish to attach the hoe, you have to remove the 3 point lower links etc in order to allow the hoe the room to set into place. It is the same procedure that owners of L35's and L48's have to do. If I get time today, I will take a few pictures for you.

One drawback of the lighter Kubota hoes is that its not a true subframe. They do support the middle of the tractor with some extra brackets and a heavier top mount point but the hoe mount does not conect to the loader frame like a true subframe does. Thats why we use more woods / bradco's. If ground clearance is a problem the Kubota does sit higher because of the quasi-sub frame.

Forgot to take pics last night, got busy soldering pipes and stuff. I snapped a couple pics ina hurry this morning and just got them edited down to size.

In this pic you can see one of the left bolt that connects the hoe to the subframe. You can also see the 3pt and swing arms strapped together.

Here you can see where top half of where the two subframes bolt together. This actually goes all the way around and bolts on the bottom as well.

CT, thanks for the pics. It looks like the Woods mounts simular to the BH90. It also looks like it uses the factory loader subframe, just like the BH90, it just sits a little further back so you can leave the 3PH arms attached.
Im already commited to the BL4690B at this point but if Im not happy with it, I will definately look hard at the Woods setup. At this point, Im glad to be staying with a Kubota product and for my needs, the BL4690B is better suited than the BH90.

Ray, congrats on your decision. The main thing is that you are happy and content with your purchase. I appologize for not getting the pictures last weekend. When I was putting the backhoe back on the tractor which would have been a perfect time to click some photos. I completely forgot the camera. I was dirty and the wife would not let me in the house. I will be taking my backhoe off this weekend and will take a series of pictures. You probably wont need them, but if other members are interested in the subframe mount...maybe it will assist them.

That will be a 3pt set up right? If so MAKE SURE your top link pin is a heavy duty one not the standard pin, should be included but double check cause they messed this up with me. Also watch that toplink pin VERY CLOSELY for wear and signs of sheering. I would also double check the torque on the top plate bolts.

The Kubota BH has its own top link that uses two pins at the tractor end and is solid mounted to the BH frame at the other.

Not to sound too much like Im just defending my choice but the tractor does indeed have a subframe that connects the rear axle solidly to the loader, its one of the reasons I bought this model tractor with the LA723 loader.
