I have a B2920 with 5 hours on it.With it goes a slightly used Landpride boxblade and new Landpride rotary cutter. It has front end loader and r4 tires.I was thinking of asking $16500 for it.Is this a reasonable price for this?
Did I do something wrong.110 looks and no replys.
I also think that's part of why your getting no responses. 100 hours or 5 hours will make very little difference in price to a buyer. To you it's new and you know what you paid for it and all of us feel for you because we all know it's now just a used tractor with very low hours. It's still used when it comes to financing. The 0% naysayers can look at your situation and maybe get a little better understanding of the real value of 0% financing. A new one from a dealer is a certain price per month for 42 months with 0% financing. Easy to figure, sale price divided by 42. Yours is a certain price per month with whatever rate of financing someone can get with their current credit score. Your sale price plus financing costs for 42 months divided by 42 equals what someone will have to pay per month for yours. Some here quote the fed rate of almost nothing but the rate for an individual for a tractor will be from 5 to 10% which will very easily add a couple to several thousand dollars more to your selling price which can make yours more than a new one from a dealer. Also factor in what kind of deal you actually paid for yours. If you paid high dollar and someone can negotiate a better deal (say a thousand dollars) than you did on a new one then another $1000 can be saved on a new one over yours or you lose another $1000 on yours. The other reason for no responses is most of us already have a tractor and are not in the market to buy one. I for one never keep up with prices and without digging up paperwork have no idea what I paid for mine. Once my deal is made I put all that knowledge to the past and clear what lttle brain space I have left for filling with other usually useless information. The usual response is that you'd have to take an abnormal beating to sell it when folks can buy new and get 0% financing.
