I have a chance to buy a Farm Pro 2420 with a finishing mower and 4' box blade for $6,500.00. It is a 2005 model with only 37 hours on it. Is this a decent price and is this an overall good tractor. I am a newbie with 17 acres of pasture in sandy soil, raising a few horses. Thanks.

I bought mine new for less than that. I think it was $6200 tax and delivered.

Maybe a little small for all that land...you sure you want a finishing mower? I cut 7 acres with a bushhog and it takes 6 hours. It's up to you though...

You can buy new for that or even less if you shop around. We still have a couple of 2005 with the 2 year warranty in stock at the old prices. Where are you located?
