Price Check Price on a B6100?

machinerylink is often way off of reality. The paper blue books are often several thousand dollars different then that site. I don't know where they get their data, but don't consider it gospel.

I get B6100's all the time, they are very popular around here. If you have a good clean gear drive with a blade & mower I'd say $3000-3500 is fair. If it has an HST it would bring upwards of 5,000.

As you say, they are very popular around your area. Plus you sell them, so its only natural that you would tell someone they are worth much more. I get the same talk looking at used cars in my area when I quote a blue book price. Buying from an individual would be different though, because they have no markup. Anyway, not trying to be antagonistic here.
Just adding my two cents worth. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

 Thats what I figured. Not a bad deal if they will still sell them cheap.

BTW, the guy has the original owners and service manuals for the tractor.

Thanks

According to the Kubota Workshop Tractor manual for the b5200 . b6200 . b7200 . b6200hst . b7200hst for the B6200

Maximum P.T.O power: 9.3 kW (12.5 hp) *
Engine gross H.P. 11.2 kW(15 HP)*

* - Manufacture's Estimate

I bought a b7200hst for 8000 with fel, box and tiller. It is hydro and 4wd. The 5000 estimated retail on the 6200 does not see that far off.

Kubota DOES have a ROPS retrofit program for that tractor. They basically GIVE you the ROPS and you pay the dealer to install it (100-150 dollars I think). I am pretty sure I read you MUST have the dealer install it. They are not making any money on the program, just covering their backsides. I would strongly recommend you take them up on the deal.

They are nice little tractors. Rugged little workhorses. Just realize. They are NOT the CUTs you see people talking about today. They don't have a stereo or cup holder. You couldn't hear a stereo over them. Hearing protection is required to operate. Cup holder would be useless because of the vibration. Climb abord, buckle up and hold on for dear life. These are little tractors from back when tractors were tools.

I love mine even though I have long since finished the jobs I bought it for. I should sell it instead of keeping it around to move firewood twice a year. Just that ... I LIKE it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
