Price on EZ Attachment tooth bars

After reading of several TBN users who had good experiences with EZ Attachment tooth bars I contacted a local dealer but was surprised by the prices quoted. For a 54 inch bucket, the standard toothbar is about $460 and the "landscaper" model was over $500. This seems quite high. Has anyone found a dealer that sells these at a discount. I presume they can be drop shipped but the manufacturer will only take orders from dealers.

Island Tractor, I ordered the 84" HD H&H/EZ attachments one for $632 back in November from my Kubota dealer it is a great addition to the loader and I like it although unlike a lot of folks I don't plan on ever removing it. I'd say if you were planning on using it and then loosening it to swing it up to back drag smooth the Markam would be the best choice but for me I wanted the heavy duty application which protects the bucket lip from bending. As far as a dealer I'd check them all giving them the manufacturers name and phone number most are happy to order for you with a deposit. It seems like they all have their own special markup practices and I've found 20% or more difference in price on the exact same implement shopping around and its not always the same one that is cheapest but I will say I deal with my Kubota dealer on everything because he will meet his competitions price and has proven himself beyond trustworthy at least my sales person has I'm not that impressed with the service manager so far but he hasn't run me off yet either.

I don't have an EZ toothbar. But my WR Long toothbar was $270 for a 54" bucket. And it serves me real well.

I don't mean to divert the thread, but if you decide on a WR Long, find out who Inspector bought from. My WR Long toothbar (48") was $290 from Carver.

I paid about $350 plus shipping when I bought mine in June '04. I, also, have a 54" bucket.

I am very happy with mine, and especially like the V cutting edge that protects the bucket from wear and bending. I had attempted to buy from Markham, but they were on back order and I needed one in a hurry. H&H Sales came through for me when I needed them.

I paid $300.00 for a Woods 54" in Sept. 04 from my dealer. This is probably the best addition to my tractor. I think that if you call around, you should find a similar price even though the price of steel has sky-rocketed.

I was quoted $353.00 + shipping for a 60" from EZ ( H&H Sales) and $267.00 + shipping from W.R.Long and 325.00 + shipping for a Woods and $231.00 + shipping and an additional $24.00 if I wanted a seventh tooth which all the other bars had as standard from Markham

Did you get this quote from H&H directly? I was under the impression they only sold through dealers.

Yes I did. I told them that there weren't any dealers close to me in OR. that handled their product I explained that dealers on their dealer locater list were trying to sell other manufacturers, eg. Woods, Rankin (ATI), Tisco. None of these dealers could give me any info like weight, number of teeth, dimensions, price. The price quoted was suggested retail. All the prices I listed with the exception of Woods were from the manufacturers
