Well, I signed all the papers yesterday and been reading the manuals ever since. Just hope that I made a wise decision.

Why the TN70D and not the TN75D? Was there a large price difference? The only differences I'm aware between the two is a larger hydraulic pump, a hydraulic cooler, and a few more HP on the TN75. Just wondering.

Sure would like to have your cab. Don't mind the heat or cold, it's the dust and noise. My wife said I'm already going deaf because of tractors and other equipment. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S TALKING ABOUT. I NEVER NOTICED IT.

Oliver,

The 70D was on the lot and they gave me a good deal. The cab model of the TN series are a bit hard to find in my area. Most folks go with a larger cab tractor or no cab. Also as you point out, not much difference.

I got the cab for the same reasons, noise and dust. Also I plan to keep this machine for the next 10-15 + years and the cab is not that much more.

Enjoy the new tractor. I bet you will love it.

What engine do these tractors use? I know shibaura on the smaller ones but not sure on the bigger ones.

BTI, the engine is made by Iveco, a sub oF Fiat. It's a 3 cylinder and 179c.i. The same engine is used on all the TNs. The HP is increased on the TN 70 and TN75 by a turbo. The compression ratios are also different depending on the tractor. The block is heavy-duty cast iron. From what I've heard, it's suppose to be a longlasting reliable engine. Guess I'll find out.
