Went to my local Kubota dealer pricing tractor mounted tillers. While talking to the saleman I asked him the price of a new Kubota 500 - diesel with full cab and air. $19,000.00. Knock me over with a feather!!!!

The 500 (no AC available and gas only) is around $8500...The 1100 diesel is in the high teens although you can do better than 19k

Yes but the ability to watch your neighbor trying to do stuff in cold, wet weather while you stay warm and dry is priceless. And then we get to the airconditioning when it is hot outside and we will not even mention what the neighbor thinks.

In the long run the 1100 is worth it. And add the remote start so the cab is ready when you get there.
